Temporary Closure Of The Rustenburg Magistrates Court

The Rustenburg Magistrates Court has been temporarily closed from 25 February 2022 until further notice.

The following temporary arrangements are currently in effect to assist the community and all affected stakeholders:

1. Criminal Court matters will be held at the Rustenburg Police station.

2. Civil Court matters will be held at the Traffic Department opposite Fern Crest.

3. Maintenance Court matters will be held at Mobile Units currently used by the Office of the Family Advocate, situated within the Court building.

4. Domestic and harassment matters will be held at the Office of the Family Advocate.
5. Children’s Court matters will be held at the Office of the Family Advocate.
6. Estate and LND, will be serviced at the office of the Family Advocate.
7. There will be a drop off documents’ office of the Public Protector next to the Court Building, Clerks will be available.
